  • Device & Camera Data: We collect device identifiers, WiFi network details, and firmware versions to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Media Content: To enable bird-watching features, we process photos and videos captured by your feeder's camera.
  • AI Identification: Our AI algorithms process media to identify bird species. You maintain full control over whether your anonymized data helps train our models via the App settings.

2. App Permissions Transparency

To provide full functionality on your mobile device, the Nafnti App may request the following permissions:

  • Camera & Photo Library: To save bird photos/videos to your phone or upload profile pictures.
  • Microphone: To enable two-way audio communication with your bird feeder.
  • Location Data: Required during initial setup to connect your feeder to your local WiFi network.
  • Notifications: To send real-time alerts when a bird is detected at your feeder.

  • Usage Statistics: We use cookies to remember preferences and gather anonymous statistics on video interactions.
